Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn III will speak at 4 p.m. EDT before the Conference of Defense Associations Institute at the Chateau Laurier, Ottawa, Canada. He will speak about the US-Canada Defense Relationship in an Era of New Threats.
Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen will accept the Work Life Legacy Award from the Families and Work Institute on behalf of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The dinner event will begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT at Cipriani's 42nd Street in New York City.
