Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates and Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn have no public or media events on their schedules.

Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Navy Adm. Mike Mullen will present the Distinguished Military Leadership Award to French Air Force Gen. Stephane Abrial, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, and to U.S. Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis, Commander of U.S. Joint Forces Command, at the Atlantic Council 2010 Awards Dinner. The dinner will be held at the Ritz Carlton, 1150 22nd Street, NW, at 7 p.m. EDT. Press must be set up in the ballroom by 6:30 p.m.

Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Military Personnel Policy William J.
