Northrop Grumman Awarded Combined Tactical Training Range Contract
HERNDON, Va., Oct. 23, 2008 -- The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) has exercised a third option for Northrop Grumman to continue to provide operations, maintenance and engineering support to its Combined Tactical Training Range (CTTR).
Northrop Grumman is in the fourth year of providing services under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, originally awarded in 2005. The contract is valued at $217 million over five years.
Northrop Grumman is the prime contractor, teamed with Arcata Associates, Las Vegas; Westech International, Albuquerque, N.M.; Veteran Enterprise Technology Services LLC, Tucson, Ariz.; and Chugach Management Services Inc., Anchorage, Alaska.
"Northrop Grumman provides the best-value, superior technical performance for our country's aviation warfighters," said Dennis Krupp, Northrop Grumman Technical Services' program manager. "Operating the CTTR provides us an opportunity to support our service members by providing them with the most realistic environment in all warfare areas."
