Northrop Grumman Awarded Southwest Asia Support Services Contract

HERNDON, Va., Oct. 3, 2008 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) was awarded a contract under the Communications/Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response (CR2) program to provide support services at multiple locations in Southwest Asia.

The Support Services at U.S. Air Forces Central (USAFCENT) Installations task order is valued at almost $37 million over one base year and one option year. Northrop Grumman's Technical Services sector has managed the program since Sept. 2004.

"We believe in the 'right-person, right-job' concept to ensure mission success in critical areas including resource protection, information security, and security plans and programs. Embedded with our customer on location, we directly support our nation's warfighters at these remote overseas locations."
