Northrop Grumman Names Donald G. Lisenbee Corporate Lead Executive for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22, 2008 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced today that it has named Donald G. Lisenbee corporate lead executive for company business with the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), headquartered in Fort Monroe, Va.

As corporate lead executive, Lisenbee will serve as the principal corporate point of contact for all Northrop Grumman business with TRADOC and will promote and coordinate the activities of all Northrop Grumman sectors supporting TRADOC business and community interests. TRADOC, which operates 33 schools and centers at 16 Army installations, serves to recruit and train soldiers, develop leaders, and support unit training. It also develops doctrine and establishes standards to help build the future Army.

"Don is an expert in military concepts and doctrine development and has substantial experience in working with high level service and joint staffs, combatant commands and government agencies," said Bob Helm, corporate vice president of government relations. "This experience will be essential, as he represents the combined capabilities of Northrop Grumman to one of our most important customers."

Lisenbee joins Northrop Grumman following a distinguished 26-year career in the U.S. Army. Most recently, Lisenbee was Chief of the Joint and Army Concepts Division at the Army Capabilities Integration Center, Fort Monroe. Previously, he was Chief of the Joint and Army Doctrine Division at the Futures Center, Fort Monroe. In his Army career, Lisenbee has held multiple leadership and operational positions, including combat and non-combat deployments worldwide.

Lisenbee earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, N.C., and a master's degree in management from the University of Saint Mary, Leavenworth, K.S.
