General Dynamics Awarded $40 Million Logistics Support Contract from
the U.S. Army

FAIRFAX, Va., May 4 - General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a $40 million contract to support the U.S. Army's Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Life Cycle Management Command's (LCMC) Small Arms Readiness and Evaluation Teams program. The multiple-award contract covers a three-year period.

General Dynamics will provide logistics support and repair services to
the TACOM LCMC-Rock Island Weapons-Product Support Integrated Directorate for Small Arms Readiness and Evaluation Team-Repair (SARET-R) and Small Arms Readiness and Evaluation Team-Optics (SARET-O). General Dynamics will provide teams of technical experts that will supplement existing government SARETs by assisting in the inspection and maintenance of small arms and optic devices and supplying technical support for other SARET-R and SARET-O tasks.
