WASHINGTON (NNS) -- Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced Aug. 14 that the President has made the following nomination:
Navy Reserve Capt. Charles A. Rainey has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral (lower half). Rainey is currently serving as commanding officer, Naval Reserve, strategic mission analysis, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md.
