General Dynamics Awarded $60 Million Contract by U.S. Air Force for
Mission Operations Support

FAIRFAX, Va., -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems a five-year, $60 million contract to provide network management and mission operations support to the 480th Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Wing's Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) and two network operations centers in Virginia and California. General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is a business unit of General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD).

Under this contract, General Dynamics will continue to provide systems,
network and communications engineering; technical project management;
systems integration and administration; configuration management; and
network security management. General Dynamics will also provide network
management, mission and performance management and data traffic routing
support for the DCGS network, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. General
Dynamics has supported the 480th Intelligence Group since 1994.

seamless interoperability," said Lou Von Thaer, president of General
