NATO Representatives of Armaments Directors to Meet at BSDA-2010
Bucharest, Romania - January 26, 2010.

The organizers of the biannual Black Sea Defense & Aerospace Exhibition and Conference today announced that the NATO Representatives of National Armaments Directors will be part of the opening delegation of the exhibition.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition is scheduled for 10:00 am, April 13, 2010 at the ROMAERO Aerospace Complex in Bucharest, Romania.

“Following a meeting today with representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Defense, we are delighted to announce this very important delegation”. We are now in detailed discussions with the Romanian MoD to maximize the amount of time these important officials can spend at the exhibition, looking at new equipment & technologies and speaking with our exhibitors” commented Mr. Sebastian Tudor, the Romanian Director of the exhibition.

The Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD) is the senior NATO committee responsible for Alliance armaments co-operation, material standardization and defense procurement. It brings together the top officials responsible for defense procurement in NATO member and Partner countries to consider the political, economic and technical aspects of the development and procurement of equipment for NATO forces, with the aim of arriving at common solutions.

The officials who will be taking part within the Black Sea Defense & Aerospace exhibition in Bucharest are the representatives of the National Armaments Directors (NADREPs), which come from the permanent delegation of member countries to NATO.
