The battle royal for the Defence Select Committee: Four MP's - only one winner - Who Decides ??

The Daily Telegraph blog reports on the four contenders for the role of Chairman of the House of Commons Defence select committee.

Of the four candidates for the role of Defence Select Committee chairman, incumbent James Arbuthnot has a very high reputation and is quite deserving of a further term in the role.

Other competitors include Patrick Mercer, Julian Lewis and Douglas Carswell. Of the three one would suspect the latter to be the strongest competitor to James.
