Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC), a leader in global security, will update reporters on its most significant advances in developing, producing and modernizing U.S. military systems and related electronic technologies at the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Annual Convention.
Topics will cover the company's Common Infrared Countermeasures (CIRCM) offering for U.S. Army helicopter protection and the breakthrough STARLite radar for unmanned aircraft to include the latest on the system's dismount moving target identification (DMTI) and coherent change detection capabilities. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., Carl Smith, vice president of Infrared Countermeasures Programs at Northrop Grumman's Land and Self Protection Systems Division, will provide updates on the company's CIRCM system offering for U.S. Army helicopter protection specifically outlining details of Northrop Grumman's solution to the U.S. Army's CIRCM program.
Immediately following the CIRCM brief, Mike Pefley, director, Business Development and Strategic Planning for Northrop Grumman's Land and Self Protection Systems Division will provide an update on STARLite, a break-through advanced radar with DMTI and coherent change detection capabilities that is now available in a less than 80-pound package for tactical unmanned and light fixed-and rotary-wing manned air vehicles.
Northrop Grumman's AAAA exhibit booth #117 will complement the media briefings with an overview of the company's global security offerings in situational awareness, aircraft self protection, communications, force protection, automated test equipment and precision strike.
