FAIRFAX, Va., -- General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a $9.2 million dollar, three-year contract to support the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) and Office of the Surgeon General.
General Dynamics will support the Army MEDCOM Lean Six Sigma Concepts and Methodologies program by providing instruction and consulting services to internal organizations for MEDCOM's Director of Strategy and Innovation.

"We will lend our organizational capabilities, traditionally used with supply chain management, to MEDCOM for achievement of sustained results and mission success of promoting, sustaining and enhancing soldier health."
